Trump Media and Technology Group CEO Devin Nunes noted on Friday that Reality Social is making an attempt to establish its possess advert system “because we don’t want to be beholden to Google.”
The previous California congressman, who now runs former President Trump’s app Truth Social, designed the remark on “Mornings with Maria” the day following a bipartisan group of senators led by Utah Republican Mike Lee launched legislation that would drive Google to break up its dominant on the web-advert company.
The Competitiveness and Transparency in Electronic Advertising and marketing Act would “restore and shield competitors in digital marketing by doing away with conflicts of fascination that have allowed the main platforms in the market place to manipulate ad auctions and impose monopoly rents on a wide swath of the American financial state,” a news release from Lee’s business office famous.

He went on to say that “as an individual who had to use Google’s advertising in my previous life in political campaigns, the biggest concern that I always experienced was they had to approve my adverts right before they went on to a banner advert or a movie or what have you and that was really problematic mainly because normally periods they ended up much harder on Republicans than they were being on the still left.”

A Google spokesperson did not immediately respond to FOX Business’ request for remark.
