The most up-to-date grist surrounding the oft-rumored Apple auto is a report that the tech large has hired a previous Porsche vice president of chassis improvement, presumedly to work on a planned electrical car or truck.
Apple has poached Manfred Harrer from the German automaker, studies Business Insider Deutschland (by using 9to5Mac). Neither of the providers or Harrer have commented on the report. At the time of publication, Harrer’s LinkedIn profile shown him as vice president of the Cayenne product or service line, a job he switched to from the chassis-improvement situation past July.
