WATERVILLE — Councilors voted 6- Tuesday to award a $282,809 agreement to a company to oversee the $11.2 million Build grant design venture to transform Major and Entrance streets downtown to two-way together with other enhancements.
The Waterville Town Council also voted unanimously to appoint business enterprise proprietor Uria Pelletier to the Preparing Board and bade farewell to Mayor Nick Isgro.
Isgro appointed Pelletier, operator of the construction organization, Kavestone LLC, to the Setting up Board to fill the unexpired time period of Cathy Months who resigned a several weeks ago. The appointment wanted council approval and Councilor Thomas Klepach, D-Ward 3, questioned Pelletier to inform the council about himself.
Pelletier claimed he life on Silver Road and was born and lifted in Waterville. He renovated Waterville Household of Pizza and nearby OPA restaurant, and he bought and is operating on the aged Boys & Ladies Club on Major Area.
