The Ashanti Area has been given its truthful share of the national cake in phrases of infrastructural assignments and will demonstrate appreciation to President Akufo-Addo on December 7 elections, Mr Simon Osei-Mensah, the Regional Minister, has said.

He mentioned some of the improvement initiatives as roadways, sanitation facilities, classroom blocks, water devices, and electrification projects.

On social interventions, he stated, farmers in the Area received enhanced seedlings for cultivation underneath the Planting for Foodstuff and Careers and Planting for Export and Rural Enhancement, countless numbers of students benefitted from the government’s Totally free Senior Substantial School policy, whilst citizens appreciated free water supply and electric power.

“We’re grateful to President Akufo-Addo for supplying us our good share of the countrywide cake due to the fact in the education and learning sector by yourself, we have 702 tasks, with 424 at the essential amount and 278 in the secondary school level,” he additional.

The Minister expressed the appreciation at the Ninth Edition of the Country Constructing Updates in Accra on the concept: “Rebuilding the Ghanaian Economy”.
